Jacyln McElligott snags a personal best

Women's Cross Country: The Norwich University women's cross country team raced to an eighth place finish at the WNEC Invitational in a 20-team field.

Ramboid Jacyln McElligott (pictured below on the left) clocked a personal best at 20:58 (15th place overall) on the 5,000-meter course.

Jaclyn McElligott took 13th (& Maura Kee finished 12th) to lead the Norwich women’s cross country team to a third-place finish at the Panther Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The Norwich women’s cross country team resumes its 2007 slate on Friday, Sept. 21, when the Cadets trek to Nashua, N.H., to battle Rivier.

Where is Dean now?

He is 943 miles into his run across America - that after running 50 marathons in 50 days in 50 different states.

Dean Karnaze is in Indiana and tenatively running through St. Louis December 18.
