Cocktail Party

There was a big cocktail party in a very small town. Everyone who was anyone was at the party. Business owners, politicians, doctors, lawyers, TV personalities, etc, etc.

A group of men were over in the corner having a drink and talking about local affairs - a doctor, lawyer, the mayor, police chief and an oil man. The oil man takes an advantage of a break in the conversation and says to the Doc, "I've got a rash on my arm, let me show it to you". The Doc takes a look and says, "Well Bill, that doesn't look to bad, just wash it was soap and water and rub a little Neosporin on it and it should go away in a couple of days."

Bill leaves the group to engage others in conversation and the Doc turns to the lawyer and says "That is the kind of stuff that Doctors are faced with everyday. We run into people and feel obligated to answer whatever medical questions they have. Damn, I just missed out on a visit to my clinic. Do you think I should send him a bill?"

The lawyer replies, "You're the doctor do what you think is best." The party continued. . .

A week later the Doctor got a bill from the Lawyer ....

HT JRW, don't you just love 'em, those wonderful lawyers?
