Samsung executive resides in the "Pen" at Lompoc

Thomas Quinn, a Senior Vice President at Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. is currently residing in the United States Penitentiary at Lompoc, California, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator. Lompoc has both high and low security facilities.

Samsung's website still lists Mr. Quinn as a member of the North America Headquarter Management Team. Tom is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Samsung Semiconductor's memory sales, marketing and corporate communications initiatives in North America.

In November 2006, Mr. Quinn pled guilty to participating in a DRAM price-fixing scheme in his capacity as a vice-president for Samsung.
