Bono is at a U2 concert in Ireland when he asks the audience for some quiet.
Then in the silence, he starts to slowly clap his hands. Holding the audience in total silence, he says into the microphone...
"Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies."
A voice from near the front of the audience pierces the silence..."
For God's sake, stop doing it then!"

Seriously . . . Rambus Inc. might not be helping the children in Africa, but they are doing their part in California by partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.

Wish I could report that I learned about the Rambus Inc. good deed by reading a PR piece - hey, why not give the media nice things to write about you?
It is pretty sad when I receive a daily Google Alert linking my own material, but only about as often as a full moon, a Google Alert with something positive originating from Rambus Inc.
Still waiting for my stock options - no need to misdate, in fact I will take a strike price at twice the current price and . . .
