WEBINDIA123.com reports that Rambus has a target employee strength of 100 by the end of 2006, 200 in 2007 and 5oo by the end of the decade for its operations in India. Currently, Rambus employs more than 50 in India.
Rambus CEO, Harold Hughes is quoted:
''We are extremely happy with the talent pool available here.''
Rambus Bangalore is reportedly working on projects for Sony, Toshiba, IBM and AMD and with a goal to continue to provide service for customers in Asia.
When asked about planned company growth, Mr. Hughes indicated that Rambus was looking at some technology companies in the US for acquisition.
