Electronic fishwrap notices Rambus insiders selling

The MercuryNews.com reported that Rambus executives sold more shares in January 2006 than they did in all of 2005 when they sold a reported 882,813 shares. Ramboids have been hearing squealing and it is nearly deafening.

Some of the winners and their nets:

Kevin Donnelly made $1.9 million.

Samir Patel made $1.8 million.

Laura Stark netted $1.6 million.

David Mooring more than $8.5 million.

Robert Eulau made $5.7 million.

Michael Farmwald sold 100,000 shares of the nearly 3 million shares he owns for $3.4 million.

Rambus reported that it made 9 cents a share last quarter with approximately 100 million shares currently outstanding and 110 million shares upon full dilution.

Yup, insiders wiped out two quarters of net earnings anyway you want to slice it. Bury it in fine print, footnotes, "former SEC filings" - but the facts are the facts.

Rambus insiders are making a killing. The insiders are on a "killing spree" and it is not far from becoming "running riot".

Speaking of electronic fishwraps, if a search for a JOE PESCI look-alike is held, who do you think will win face to face, hands down and a leg short?
