iSuppli Corp forecasts a multi-core processor market of $64.8 billion or 638 million units in 2015 - that compares with a 2005 market of $2.6 billion or 14.8 million units. Major suppliers are accepting the multi-core as the design for future microprocessors - Sun Microsystems, AMD, HP, IBM and Intel.
