Intel inside Apple?

The Wall Street Journal reported that Intel and Apple are talking and now others are talking about the rumor here and here.

Haven't we heard this rumor before?

Is the WSJ being played? Is Apple simply trying to cut a better deal with IBM?

No comments from Intel or Apple. Yup.

Look for a comment from Dell - making mention of its willness to remain open-minded and responsive to the "market" and include AMD in the mix . . . just to remind Intel who has been polishing the Intel bottom line . . . or maybe Intel is sending Dell a message for the previous AMD comments?

I am imagining the tags . . . "An Apple a day keeps the AMD away" . . . "Rotten to the core" . . . "The worm has turned" . . ."What is worse than 'an Intel inside?' . . . kids can be so cruel.
