In a recent interview with EE Times Gordon Moore, co- founder of Intel and of Moore's Law fame, expressed his concern that the US is not spending enough on basic research and education. Quoting Moore, "The K-12 education system has failed."
Moore has not given up on the PC. Again, quoting Moore, "I still think that the computer industry has a long ways to go," he said. "Developing countries are the fastest growing market for computers."
