Rambus Inc. Song of the Day - Backdated

In memory of a great artist that made the song famous -- Koko Taylor just passed away earlier this week:
She made today's RSOTD famous and, as the lyrics say, if this never-ending nightmare ever concludes, "we'll pitch a .....

Donkey's mailbag

You are invited . . .

Services to lay my November $20 RMBS options to rest are scheduled for 9 AM on November 21, 2008 at 8 AM

They were bought in March thinking that Judge Whyte had already taken too long to rule on the Hynix case

I figured, back then, why not add a few months of time "just in case"

May they rest in peace

Voluntary Trade Council is no more

S.M. Oliva announced today that Voluntary Trade Council has ceased operation.

Mr. Oliva, a seemingly tireless warrior in the battle against what he terms "the criminal misconduct of the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice", has become a casualty in the war "that cannot be won in Washington DC or through the failed nonprofit ‘think tank’ model."

Best wishes Mr. Oliva, best wishes.

Another Ramboid passes while waiting for justice

Bullet, Family of FinzToRite

January 13, 1996 ---- August 25, 2008

The price-fixing memory manufacturing cartel continues to use Rambus Inc. without paying for it. Okay, Judge Whyte hasn't certified the Hynix trial, the FTC matter is pending somewhere and various Rambus patents are under review at the PTO. Make that "alleged Rambus IP."

However, that price-fixing thing ain't going away. Done deal. The cartel members are cheats. Period. Yes, you know who you are and you should be embarrassed.

And while the Ramboids wait for justice, more leave this existence with each passing month. With no offense intended to anybody - one of the dearest left today.

Rambus Inc. Song of the Day

Tragically, Dan Fogelberg recently passed away on December 16th after a several-year
battle with prostate cancer. He was 56 years of age.
We'll send one out in his memory.
"We just have to dot a few I's and cross a few T's", said in a monotone seven months
before the fact.
"You'll probably see some flash licenses soon" and I think we must have missed them
"We will try to create shareholder value"

Rambus management never keeps ..........

Freakin' cartel

While the cartel steals the intellectual property of Rambus Inc., shareholders pass onto the beyond. The legal system is too slow. It may be the best in the world, but it is not working - it rewards delay.

Last week the mailbags of the Pinehurst Thread received a sad note, which I respectfully share:

My husband passed . . . from cancer. Please stop sending the e mails. Thank you ****
It is a crying shame. It is beyond embarrassing to those with "a ticket". Get it done and make 'em pay.

Mike V is gone

Mike V, who had been LSU's mascot since 1990, has died.

Read about Mike V here. As of this writing, the site has not been updated to reflect Mike's passing.

Photograph courtesy of FinzToRite who writes:

I do believe Mike worked harder than the Rambus options backdating audit committee. Photograph taken during my visit to Baton Rouge in 2003 when Rambus was "a 2005 story".

Resting in peace - February 20, 2007.

HT to her family, in particular, son Homer and his family, who have felt called to serve the Malinke - running nearly eight years now. The daily struggles of your life which you have willingly accepted make the Rambus Inc. drama seem insignificant.

Eddie Feigner is gone

Feb. 9 from complications of dementia at Cogburn Health and Rehabilitation facility in Huntsville, Ala. He was 81.

From a syndicated Washington Post report:

Feigner (pronounced FAY-ner) was generally regarded as the greatest softball pitcher who ever lived.

At his peak, Feigner threw a softball harder than any major-league pitcher has ever thrown a baseball. His underhand fastball was once timed at 104 mph — or, according to some accounts, 114 mph. The fastest documented pitch thrown by a major-league pitcher is 103 mph.

FinzToRite faced Feigner when he was 15 . . . four pitches and he was gone.
