When Tiger was racking his brain for an answer to Elin's questions was he desperately wishing for an opportunity to use a "lifeline" and call a "friend" who could tell him the correct answer? What friend would he call? One of those who had helped him maintain his unreported lifestyle? What would that friend suggest was the correct answer? Careful, unavoidable disclosure? The whole truth? Poll the audience?
One wonders if Tiger has a real friend he can phone.
