Arnold has California in crisis mode. Well, sort of . . .

One way already in place to raise revenue is increasing the traffic school fee.

Starting the 1st of the year, thanks to SB1407:

Traffic School Fee: An increase of $25.00 to the traffic school fees. The traffic school fees for 2008 were $29 and for 2009 will be $54.00. The higher traffic school fee is imposed on January 1, 2009, regardless of whether the offense occurred prior to that date.

Bail plus penalty assessment: $147.00
Traffic School Fee:$54.00
Security Fee:$20.00
Court Conviction Fee:$35.00
Grand total:$256.00
