Constitution Day

Pause, remember and celebrate citizenship. Some suggestions:

1) Observe a moment of silence for those serving in the armed forces.
2) Register to vote. Help somebody else register. More information here.
3) Read the Constitution. Find a copy of the Constitution here.
4) Have a spot of tea with a friend or co-worker. Conserve in an English accent.

William Randolph Hearst advocated the creation of a day to celebrate citizenship in 1939. More about Constitution Day here.

Resisted snarky post about the current administration's apparent view of the Constitution. If that is what you are wanting to read today, visit The Progressive here.
