Google-Heads hate Rambus?

Google algorithms are a black box. Why is some "news" captured and some not?

A theory of Donkey's is that Google-Heads tweak the algorithms "as appropriate". The rub is the definition of appropriate and who decides.

Currently on the list of Rambus Inc. news is "Rambus Inc. (RMBS) dumped by Capital Fund Management SA" which is a chart by "Mutual Fund Facts About Individual Stocks". (MFFAIS)

Capital Fund Management SA reportedly sold ("dumped") all 36,100 shares it owned. Newsworthy? Perhaps. If so, why wasn't Bank of America's "new holding" of 575, 568 shares newsworthy? Or, Numeric Investors LLC "new holding" of 913,704 shares newsworthy?

Numeric Investors LLC has earned close to a 25% paper profit on its RMBS investment.

Each transaction is reported seperately as a news item, like http://www.mffais.com/newsarticles/2008-05-05/2523758-123772.html which shows Paradigm Asset buying more shares of Rambus.
