Media remains confused regarding Rambus Inc.

It is a long and complicated story, the Rambus one. The media regularly has its facts wrong. Case in point is the recent piece by Electronic News Managing Editor, Suzanne Deffree - she is on her head regarding the 2003 trial . . .

The FTC brought anti-trust charges against Rambus in 2002 and after a 2003 trial had ruled that Rambus monopolized the DRAM market and acted inappropriately during the JEDEC standards setting process.

Rambus should hold a contest, offering a few shares to the winner who drafts a short, concise and readable summary of the Rambus saga. Rambus could include the summary in a press kit.
