Donkey's mailbag

Andy Updegrove inspired a reader to write Mr. Updegrove and send Donkey a copy . . .

Subject line: Your opinon and what its worth on the open market these days...

I would like you to take stock in the most recent CADC opinion regarding the FTC Vs. Rambus. Apparently your ability to interpret the law especially in regard to SSO’s seems to fall on deaf ears within the CADC.

Pro bono friend of the court briefs and your relationship with the [*fill in your own description] group of FTC individuals who call you with well wishes and encourage attorneys from Micron and write their briefs are exactly what this country needs to fall further behind the innovative curve which is the last frontier that Americans excel at over countries with lower wages and standard of livings.

I hope you continue to be at odds with the correct interpretation of SEVERAL courts because as YOUR worth and opinion decrease, the ability of American corporations who actually innovate and create will hopefully hold back the tide that is going to turn this great nation into a country of burger flippers vs. a country of creativity and manufacture.

Keep up the good work!!!

The opinions expressed herein are the author's and not necessarily those of Donkey. Posting to encourage public debate of the issues expressed . . .

Don't bother suing Donkey as his assets (except Starbucks card and a small bag of oats) are held in an irrevocable offshore blind trust.
