Barry Bonds lawyers up . . .

"Those who attempt to profit or make false statements are on notice that Schneider and Burris will protect Mr. Bonds' rights to the full extent of the law."

It's about the money, plain and simple.

Tim Donaghy, a NBA referee for 13 years who resigned earlier this summer before commissioner David Stern could fire him, is expected to plead guilty to charges he bet on games he officiated. Mr. Stern characterizes Donaghy as a "rogue, isolated criminal".

Okay, Mr. Stern, if you say so . . . Can I write "it's about the money"?
