The 1Q was so quiet at Rambus, makes me wonder what the Marketing and Sales staff do all day long.
Mr. Hughes has to make some licensing progress soon or Ms. Holt will come under scrutiny. Legal difficulties aside, she has been in place for a few years now, and licensing is unimpressive on any product front. There are other prospects besides memory manufacturers.
If we thought Mr. Hughes was already uncommunicative toward shareholders, appears Mr. Lavelle has put the kabosh on any information-sharing at all.
Just the thought of another shallow "low-energy, no information, shareholder ambivalent" conference call makes me cringe.
Just my opinion.
