The Rise of the Litigation


Federal Judge Ronald M. Whyte tossed litigation over the "Terminator" movies in which plaintiff Neil Goldberg claims director James Cameron stole ideas and music. Judge Whyte agreed with the Cameron Team and ruled that Mr. Goldberg waited too long to file.

Mr. Goldberg claims his delay in filing was due to his years-long "spiritual yoga path". The journey was marked, in part, by "shunning" all forms of media.

"It's one of those things that you don't believe until you see it, but it really might have happened," quips Donald C. Schwartz, counsel for Goldberg.

"Might have happened"? Fore! Marsha, please pass the gloves.

Judge Whyte ruled that Goldberg can re-file his claim on 2003's "Terminator III: Rise of the Machines".
