Rant . . . Al Gore wants you to consume less energy in your home. Come on, shut off some lights and put on a sweater. Don't light the fireplace, it pollutes.
Al Gore is passionate about global warming and he is doing his part to warm the planet. The Tennessee Center For Policy Research reports that the Gores' Nashville mansion uses more electricity in a month than the average American household does in a year.
In 2006 the average household consumed 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) and the Gores devoured nearly 221,000 kWh.
