Great read . . . . The Ha-Ha

Howard was in Vietnam barely two weeks when on a routine patrol his LT stepped on a landmine. The explosion left Howard cradling his own brain and his world changed - after the explosion, Howard was "of ordinary intelligence" but unable to speak, read or write.

The Ha-Ha follows a few weeks of Howard's life 30 years later. It is a troubling, dark and moving story.
