Why hasn't Bill Lockyer exposed the naked shorts?

California's Attorney General Bill Lockyer has been busy making headlines:

Global Warming: Filed a lawsuit against leading U.S. and Japanese auto manufacturers, alleging their vehicles’ emissions have contributed significantly to global warming . . .

Wacky Weed: The California Department of Justice eradicated 2,000 illegally cultivated marijuana plants . . . our agents will keep pulling it up wherever they find it . . .

Pretexting: Filed felony charges against former Hewlett-Packard Chairwoman Patricia C. Dunn and four other defendants . . .

DRAM price fixers: Lockyer, joined by 33 other state Attorneys General . . . antitrust complaint in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. defendants include the following parent companies: Infineon Technologies AG; Hynix Semiconductor, Inc.; Micron Technology, Inc.; Mosel Vitelic, Inc.; Nanya Technology Corp.; Elpida Memory, Inc.; and NEC Electronics America, Inc.

Bill, it is time to expose the naked shorts. Why aren't you taking the lead? Connecticut and Utah are ahead of you . . .
