The story goes that, back in 2005, a female investor was convinced that Rambus was going somewhere. In no way did she think they were crooks. She subscribed to Hager. She listened to management announce that multiple licenses were signed, or nearly signed, but "couldn't yet be announced". She read the ad nauseum "Ramblings of Rambiskit" and the rest of the Kool-Aid Kids pumping on the stock message boards. She even believed that our esteemed legal system was adequate.

As a result, she bought some out-of-the-money January '07 leaps.
