Suzanne Deffree, writing for ElectronicsWeekly.com, reports that Infineon Technologies is ahead of schedule with spinning off its memory division and will be headquartering the memory business in the United States maybe as early as May 2006. This according to Ms. Deffree will place Infineon in the same country as memory giants Micron and Rambus.
