It is who you know?

As the Sacramento Kings were being crushed by the LA Lakers I surfed.

I could not help myself . . . A 40-something blonde was discussing plastic surgery - chin implant - with a doctor. She believed, most fervently, that if she had her chin made-over, that would push her to the next level and she could star in a major motion picture, etc., etc. Even my daughter, an eternally optimistic 13 year old, who dreams of being "discovered" expressed disbelief. Plastic surgery, acting classes, perfect tans . . . if you don't know somebody, it just isn't going to happen.

Which brings me to this little news gem found by FinzToRite. Rambus, Inc.'s own, Geoff Tate, is on the list of individuals who have given California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's re-election bid "a shot". You go Geoff. Reportedly, the Terminator, that would be the Governor, has on his staff former members of the White House staff. Do lunch. It is time for the FTC to go away.
