Get on the bus, Rambus

Daniel Amir of WRHAMBRECHT+CO recommends that investors buy Rambus - target $38 - "as valuation remains attractive considering the upside potential of possibly getting revenue damages and settlements from the DRAM makers."

Mr. Amir's report is available at WRHAMBRECHT+CO linked here.

Two near term events are identified as key elements in the Rambus story:

1. Judge Kramer releasing the Department of Justice documents from its DRAM investigation - this could happen as early as today (2/23/06) - in Rambus's antitrust case against Micron, Hynix, Samsung and Infineon, et al.

2. Judge Whyte starting Rambus's patent infringement trial against Hynix in early March 2006.
