Although Sony officially doesn't comment, analysts are suggesting:
1) Sony Playstation 3 will be delayed in its launch - Summer in Japan, November in North America and March 2007 in Europe.
2) When launched, there will be shortages - fewer units than Xbox 360's launch with 1 million total units available.
3) Limited software - Sony's Kaz Hirai has stated that 4000 development units shipped.
4) Manufacturing challenges - Cell processor, Blu-Ray.
Any Donkey visited a Gamestop yesterday and inquired about making a deposit for a PS3. No can do. Gamestop is not accepting deposits until Sony announces an official launch date.
