Rambus is hearing compliments from the pundits. Sort of makes a Ramboid well, nervous.

Alexei Oreskovic writing for TheStreet.com reports:

"This is a very favorable start for Rambus in securing additional licensing agreements with other companies in the [memory] controller area," says Bob Merritt, vice president of the DRAM portfolio at Semico Research.

Mr. Merritt opines that Rambus future licensees could "could conceivably include just about every major tech company, " and then lists Texas Instruments, Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, IBM, Nvidia and ATI Technologies as examples.

Fred Hager likely had to unplug is his telephone today.
