NE Asia reports that total worldwide semiconductor revenue in 2005 surpassed its record year in 2000 for the first time - ringing in $235 billion, reflecting a growth rate of 6.9% from 2004.
Intel continues to dominate the market with a 15% share and a 14.3% growth rate. The average growth rate for the top ten revenue generators was 6.9%.
