On September 6, 2005, Discovery Master ordered Hynix to produce a catalog of its backup media. Hynix appealed the order to Judge Whyte.

Case Title: Rambus v. Hynix
The court overrules Hynix's objection. The Special Master's Order does not permit Rambus to review the tapes or force Hynix to produce their contents. It only requires Hynix to list information about the tapes. Hynix has offered no evidence that providing this information would be burdensome.
