Elpida increasing DDR2 production

Hans Wu & Esther Lam writing for DigiTimes.com report that

Japan-based Elpida Memory will increase its DRAM capacity to approximately 90,000 12-inch wafers per month, perhaps by the fourth quarter of 2007. Elpida will also boost its 90nm DDR2 production proportion to over 50% next quarter, according to Elpida Hong Kong president Toshiharu Namimatsu at a recent product launch held in Hong Kong.
