Intel marked its 20th anniversary in Folsom, California on Friday (4/22/05) with incoming CEO Paul Otellini in attendance. Otellini gushed, “The heart of where we’re going . . . in many ways was born here in Folsom.” The locals felt wonderful . . .
Intel’s Folsom campus encompassing 1.6 million square feet, is the home of Intel’s worldwide operations for corporate information technology, a center for research and development of core-logic chipsets, flash memory and later this year, a new Intel digital health care program.
