Intel grabs graphic chipset market share

Integrated graphics chipsets won in the quarter, and Intel beat up ATI as the biggest supplier to the mobile market - Chipzilla's share rose to 50.8%, up from 39.5% in the quarter before.

In terms of ranking, the eight major suppliers to the PC sphere are Intel, ATI, Nvidia, Via, SIS, Matrox, XGI and 3D Labs/Creative. But in terms of overall market share, Intel holds 43.1%, ATI 26.1, Nvidia 17.9%, Via 6.9%, SIS 5.4%, Matrox 0.33%, XGI 0.25%, and 3D Labs/Creative 0.02%.
