And according to a survey that was conducted by the Game Initiative during the recent Advertising in Games Forum, it will be a substantial revenue source that quickly grows from year to year. The gaming industry currently grosses about $120 million a year through such advertising, however, industry experts and executives believe this number to grow to $800 million by 2009 and pass $1 billion in 2010.
