J. Eric Smith at geek.com hopes that Micron and Hynix take Rambus to the wall.
“Opting to take a settlement rather than continue the legal battle, Infineon agreed to license Rambus technology for a paltry US$47 million. Most would consider $47 million to be serious money, but Rambus was suing for more than $400 million. The fact that Infineon is getting off so lightly gives it plenty of reason to claim a victory, even while effectively "losing" the case to Rambus due to the settlement.”
