Reuters reported that Intel Corp. (INTC) has purchased Oplus Technologies, Inc., an Israeli semiconductor maker. "Oplus ' chips process and enhance video signals before they are displayed on a TV screen." Combined Oplus and INTC technology could find its way into television set-top boxes or even televisions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
